Magdalena

Magdalena lives in an apartment that her husband was able to buy before he died. She  has Alzheimer along with many other illnesses, which requires the permanent assistance of a nurse. Having two daughters who live close by who can help has been a relief to her.

Receiving money from the National Insurance Agency as well as money from her husband’s pension and some money every three months from Germany, which comes form a foundation that gives to all the Holocaust survivors that were persecuted by the Nazis, allows for just enough food and other appliances that are needed however the cost of the fulltime nurse runs very high.

During the war, Magdalena was sent to Auschwitz and miraculously was able to survive until the end of the war.

Needs: Magdalena is in great need of money to support her needs for the fulltime nurse.
